Construction Senior Project Administrator
The Raleigh Construction Company is seeking highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual for immediate position. Commitment is part time with potential for full time commitment.
Project Set Up
Preparation of contracts
Coordination of project insurance
Assistance with bidding and negotiation
Preparation of contract budgets
Coordination of building permits
Working in conjunction with multiple project leaders
Monitoring and tracking purchases for multiple projects simultaneously
Monitoring and tracking schedules for multiple projects simultaneously
Project invoicing processing
Change order processing
Assume responsibilities as receptionist
Managing a fluctuating volume of daily phone calls and inquiries
Managing and organizing timesheets
Ordering office materials and supplies
Maintaining vendor relationships
Assisting with safety program
Various other duties as assigned
Sense of humor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of the construction process
Familiar with Schedule of Values
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred but not required
Knowledge of MAC OS preferred but not required
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of five (5) years experience
Must possess a valid driver license and reliable transportation
Hourly - commensurate with experience and proficiency

Construction Project Manager/Superintendent
Qualifications: Passion and work ethic for construction of well crafted and thoughtful buildings. 3-7 years of project management experience in residential and light commercial. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field. Candidate should have a strong attention to detail, an appreciation for high quality craftsmanship, a solid technical knowledge of construction, and excellent communication & organizational skills. Candidate should be able to manage a full roster of trades and subcontractors, perform basic carpentry and job site maintenance, manage a project schedule and budget, be self motivated, and juggle & prioritize multiple projects. Preferred software knowledge in Vectorworks, Adobe CS, SketchUp, MS Office, and Mac OS. Work boots and pickup truck recommended. Valid drivers license and sense of humor required.
